Ask the Goverment!
Hi All,

Sorry for asking, but I remember something about using Parallels as a virtual Mac?
I was thinking of using it as a virtual OSX machine inside my Mac. I don't have a need for Windows programs at this point.
So... This is possible, right? I couldn't see it on their website anywhere.

You can run Mac OS X Server in Parallels as a virtual OS, but only on Mac OS X Server. Basically, run multiple copies of the server OS at the same time. Not the client (standard) version, however.

Nope. The limitation is Apple's license, not the software, but they built the software to respect Apple's license, so neither VMWare Fusion nor Parallels Desktop will allow you to set up a virtual machine with a client version of Mac OS X.
