Hello all,

Being how this is my first post here, I should probably start by thanking each and every one of you members of macrumors.com. You have been able to help my every day mac learning self to great pleasure.

And then now for the silly question, here goes:

I'm in the process of designing a website for someone and I need the exact image (as an image file) of the "pointing hand" that you get when your cursor is over a hyperlink. I tried doing a search on this topic (as I have done numerously in the past) but to no avail. I tried just screenshotting the hand, but smart as macs are they don't capture your mouse pointer in these screenshots... And I can't find where these cursor images are stored on the hard drive.

Can anyone tell me (where they are on the hard drive)? Or help find out a way to capture it?

Thanks in advance,
Nohma

Hi Nohma. If it's not possible to find it on the Mac - and I confess I haven't tried - then your best bet is to search through websites containg Dingbat fonts. Here's a site you can start with:

http://www.dingbatpages.com/

They're PC fonts, but you should be able to convert them.

They are if you use a 3rd party app.
