Hello :)

Hope everyone is having a good night. I had just a quick hopefully basic question about a mac mini that I ordered from ebay. It's a 2007 model, I believe so it has an DVI port. I don't have it yet, but am anxiously awaiting for it to arrive.

I have a VGA cable with this adapter - http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-DVI-Cable-Adapter-DVIVGAMF/dp/B000067SOH

Will that work by plugging the DVI into the mini then the VGA into the monitor or do I need an actual DVI cable?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It should work just fine. That's how I've been connecting my 2004 mini to a VGA monitor. Same kinds of connectors. No problems.

So you should be just fine.
