Since the new MobileMe calendar services became CalDAV, and since doing the "upgrade" to this new calendar format, we now have a CalDAV account in iCal's Accounts preferences that points to our MobileMe account. That said, is it necessary to have Calendars checked off in MobileMe's sync preferences on the Mac? It seems the calendar sync preferences are effectively handled by iCal now and the checkbox in MobileMe's preferences is now superfluous. Am I missing something?

I have mind checked off and tried it not checked, they synch no matter what. So I have no idea, but see no harm in having it checked.
