The one I have holds it on my Belkin vent mount unless I hit a big bump. I have a very small car, so I think it would do better with a normal car.

I’m experimenting with different cases and returning the ones that aren’t a good fit for me. Settled on Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear (pro: shows off the phone very well; con: doesn’t have MagSafe), Caudabe Sheath (pro: everything, it’s perfect in color and grip and size; con: it’s heavy), Apple leather in ink (my current daily driver right now, the dark blue color is perfect for me, can’t think of anything bad to say about it tbh), and an Otterbox Lumen in silver is arriving in the next week. I returned a couple of Apple silicone cases because no matter what the colors are (one light and one dark), they pick up dust incredibly easily. Got a red leather case off Amazon but didn’t like how it felt and how bright the red was so I returned that too.

Could you send photos of silver pro inside sheath? Thanks

They all do, in my experience.

Most of them. For example Torras Diamond after 10 months haven’t been yellowed. But it hasn’t MagSafe.

So far so good. I’m really liking the blue & white together. I usually just get a bumper cause I really don’t like the white MagSafe magnet on the cases. But the blue magnet got my attention.

I love their look but I want a non-hard case and MagSafe. Wish that existed.

Peel, the competitor of Totallee, has a clear MagSafe case that is quite thin but their description is wrong and it is a snap-on case. Hard plastic cases leave abrasions on the metal band of the phone so I won’t use them sadly.

I bought this clear case from Amazon and I really like it. The sides are not quite as hard plastic as the Apple clear case, and the MagSafe is super strong. I owned the same case for my iPhone 13 Pro and bought another one when I upgraded to the 14 Pro.

damn! That looks nice, and might convince me going the Silver route (I've been having trouble deciding between Silver, Purple or Black). However, the case doesn't seem too protective.

The vast majority of clear case manufacturers use TPU on the sides, which yellow over time, and the cases of the (very few) clear cases manufacturers who use polycarbonate all around (to prevent the case from yellowing, like Apple and Cuadabe), tend to scratch the metal frame of the iPhone and leave abrasions, seeing how they are so rigid. It sounds like you have to choose your poison, and yet the frosted look even better than a clear one (at least on a silver one. I imagine it wouldn't look as nice on a purple one), and I hadn't considered it at all.

It seems like it would be easy (at least theoretically) to find one which is a bit more protective (for the occasional drop in a room and/or on a concrete during a walk, you know, nothing too crazy), because I imagine frosted ones don't yellow over time(?)

Does anyone have any suggestions?
