The closest Apple Store is back home 2 hours away from school, so I've yet to go to an Apple Store to see the non black models in person (since every third party retailers got the new black models to promote, and I currently own the matte black).

From the promotional images, the Silver looks OK, but the Gold and Rose Gold look kind of ugly with the weird strips of white. I feel like the 6/6s golds looked better because it seemed more uniform.

So Gold/Rose Gold/Silver 7 and 7+ owners, how do you guys like the look of the phone? Do the antenna bands look worse, ugly, or the same to you? Are you using a case?

I have the rose gold. I like clean flashy gadgets instead of stealthy ones. So I choose between gold and rose gold. I actually quite like the white bands. I think they make the phone look more interesting. Silver has a gray band, looks a bit dirty, I wish they used white as well.

I have the rose gold 7 plus and think it looks gorgeous. I thought I would get the gold but it didn't look as good to me this year or maybe I've just become awed by the rose gold. I had silver last year so wanted a change. I don't like black phones.

Call me crazy, but I cancelled my pre order black matte iPhone+ for a silver one. Actually my GF said black matte doesn't fit with our macbook pro, mac mini, trackball and keyboard.... and you know GFs always are true ;)

Gold here. I like the clean (to me) look of the gold and white. I have it in a saddle brown leather Apple case that I think complements the gold and white very nicely. I have had a black 5 and space gray 5S and 6. The finish on the black 5 showed a lot of wear and handling very quickly so I didn't find either the MB or JB very tempting. YMMV!

I think the silver 5s was literally a work of art; it's been Apple's finest accomplishment to date.

But I agree that the 7 silver looks a bit dirty with the gray bands; if it were up to me buying today, I'd probably get the 7/Plus gold or rose gold.

Does anyone think that the 7 rose gold actually looks a bit more gold and less pink this year????

I had a rose gold 6S so I went to gold this time around for the 7. I hope there are new colors for the next iPhone so that way I can change it up and get that one. The gold on the 7 seems so elegant for some reason.

I switched from black/space grey to silver several generations ago and have not regretted it. The whole black bezel is so much better for videos simply hasn't proven true to me. Maybe it makes a difference on bigger screens like TVs. I actually prefer the white bezel now. The other thing I like about the silver iPhones is that they show scratches and scruff marks much less than just about any color IMO

I got my first non black/gray phone.... Got the rose gold and I'm disappointed that the aluminum of the phone doesn't match the aluminum of my rose gold watch. My watch is more pink, my phone is more peach.

I don't mind the white bands... (I don't see them when I'm using the phone anyways!) I have a screen protector on the front that has rose gold edging that covers the white... so that's not an issue either!

I'd be happier is my phone was the same pretty PINK pink that my watch is....

I'm probably the only guy who went rose gold this year...

Had a silver 6, was debating to get either gold or rose gold 7+ as I don't like black fronts. Ultimately went with the rose gold and I must say it's a really funny, unique color.

Under several lightings, rg can range from a pink, peach to a gold-copper color. I do like it though :).

my watch never looks peach... under any different lighting! and my phone mostly only looks peach... sometimes I think it might be a little pinker... but then I realize it's not....

I've had a chance to see them all. I'm torn, they all have their charms. I guess it comes down to the colors of the cases I prefer. So that would leave me between a silver and one of the black shades this time around. I've loved my rose gold iPhone 6s Plus, but it's the color that matches my wardrobe and accessories the least. It's such a pretty color, though. On the SE and the IPhone 7 I do think it looks different from my 6s Plus but it's hard to be sure since I wasn't carrying my 6s Plus at the time to compare.

I lean toward jet black right now. But I'm not totally set yet. I'm in no rush to get one so I will take my time and think this over. I won't have my decision governed by stock shortages as it has been in the past, like when I selected my space gray release day 5s rather than held out for the silver one I had wanted and my space gray SE...sort of. I got a space gray SE and I like the black bezels but sometimes wish I'd stuck to my guns and waited for rose gold to be in stock.

Bro's gold 6s to bro's gold 7+. I guess I like the colour.
Gold as implemented on the iPhones is very elegant, in my opinion. It's suitable for men and women. I have a gold iPad mini and it's absolutely beautiful. I had it without a case for a few months but did dent it in an easily repeatable accident so I put an Apple silicone case on it. It's still elegant and feminine in the case color I chose. My husband also has a gold iPad mini and with a dark navy blue case his choice looks professional and suited to a male executive. It is only the antenna lines on the lighter colors that remain a sticking point for me. Even on my preferred color of silver.

Agree! I think Apple did a great job with the gold. I've got the gold 9.7 iPad in a navy Logitech create keyboard cover....a classic color combo! For the iPhone 7, it was between gold and silver for me. I prefer a white face as it works better IMO with most case colors. I went with the silver 7 and the ocean blue silicone case...love it!

Went from a rose gold 6s+ to a rose gold 7+ and I love pink so it was a no brainer. I've had black (during the Iphone 4 white preorder fiasco) silver, gold and by far rose gold is my favorite. Also the bands being moved to the edges makes the phone look totally different from the 6s+.

Care to share a pic of your phone case combo? I have midnight blue leather and white silicone but was curious about the ocean blue. Thanks!
