Carrier SIM and selling an unlocked iPhone.

I am selling my formerly locked to ATT iPhone 5. I restored it through iTunes and got the "congratulations" message. Do I need to leave my SIM in it in order for the buyer to set it up it can I remove it?

No, he can set it up using his own SIM card since it is unlocked.

That's what I was thinking, but I wanted to make sure before I ship it. I would hate to have some one get something they couldn't use right away.
