I do not know how there aren't more of these issues around...

I was switching out my SIM card the other day and I happened to snap my SIM card tray in half when trying to pull it out.

If nobody has ever ejected their sim card before the tray is THE biggest flaw of the iphone imo, it is the cheapest piece of crap I have ever seen.

I have ordered a new SIM card tray (really cheap) but the problem is that half of the tray is still lodged in the phone unreachable by human fingers (another stupid flaw).

Does anyone know a good way to eject the rest of the piece or how much this repair would cost?

I tried to take the phone to the applestore, even with my 2yr warranty they charge a ridiculous amount of cash just to diagnose and treat it.

    -Thanks.

Try a toothpick and a very small amount of something sticky (that blue stuff for sticking up posters, maybe a light bit of model glue, etc). Make sure none of the sticky stuff gets on anything but the tray.

Edit: why did I quote? Removed the quote block.
