SIM cards are they cleaned on reset

Just wondering as I sell my phone when you do a reset on your phone does it also wipe the SIM card from any data. Aka your number for instance
 
Thanks exactly what needed to know. I sold my unlocked phone last night and wanted to be sure before I ship it tonight
