Does anyone know if a SIM Free iPhone X will be available for pre-order on Oct. 27th?

No. Apple doesn't even list that as an option. Many have stated here that the 8 was the first time this was offered on launch day.

Expect 2-3 months after launch

1) scalpers
2) deals and $$ from carriers

Exactly. That's why I was asking which country he was referring to. We've always had SIM free iPhones at launch here in the U.K.

When someone asks this question it’s always US lol. If it’s availabke in your country every year it’s also showing as going to be available on launch day. I never understand these semantics battles on here.
