Hi guys!

Was just wondering if I could walk into Verizon or AT&T and pick up a micro sim with no contract?

Can't seem to find any info on their websites:confused:

Also, does anyone know what the cost of data is like on these pay as you go sims?

Thanks!

Verizon will give you trouble and charge you $15 for a sim and try to get you on a post pay. $30 for 2GB.

AT&T will just give you a sim no questions asked. $30 for 3GB.

Um, the iPad data is month to month and not in a contract like the iPhone is. A micro-SIMis included with every iPad so why do you need another one?

Every new device includes a SIM. All data plans are 'Pre Paid' do not have contracts.

I live in the UK and will be taking my iPad to the states so I will only have a UK sim and roaming charges are crazy.

I intend to just buy a local sim there to save me money so I hope I don't have any problems walking into one of the phone stores and picking one up.....

You don't have the right bands for Verizon LTE. AT&T 3G may be OK, depending on payment method (there's been issues with them and foreign credit cards).
