Simple add date to Status Bar

is there any simple way to make the date show up next to the time in the status bar? I think there is a way to do it via sbsettings, but i don't want to install that app just to do this one thing.

I think only SBSettings can do it. You do know you can install SBSettings and not have it slide down when you touch/swipe the status bar.

You will find you like sbsettings once you use it a bit. I have the date and free memory up there.

But maybe something in winterboard may do this too.
