Simple image editing program

I need to put circles, arrows and just squiggly lines on some jpg photographs - the equiv of MS paint by Microsoft for PC's....nothing more -I have looked at a bunch in the MBA app store and am confused...just want something super simple...any suggestions?

Preview and its Annotation toolbar could do that, though squiggly lines might be a bit harder.
