Hey everyone,

I'm buying an iPad 2 when they launch in Ireland however I have a question.

As it stands I have an iPhone which I have iTunes automatically sync my entire music library too every time I connect it.

Can I have the iPad sync just songs which I select (as I don't want my entire collection on it). I basically want only my emails, notes and SOME albums / artists to sync.

Can I do this? Or will it affect my iPhone syncing.

Thanks alot.

You can sync different things to different devices. You can make a playlist JUST for the ipad, as I do. Sync that playlist, and use the ipod as you would. No bother.Same library, separate devices.

Different setting for different devices sounds great!! I know when syncing iPhone you can tick a box for "automatically sync" or "sync only checked". I didn't know I could indelendently set each device to what I wanted.

Thanks alot 🙂🙂

When you plug your iphone in, you can sewt that up one way. When you plug your ipad in, you can set that up completely differently.
