Simple .mac email address question

Hey guys

I signed up for .mac nearly a year ago and my sub is nearly up for renewal. I intent to carry on because i plan to buy an iphone and syncing online with it and the mac is genius

Before i go and renew my sub i have a question about the email adress i made when i made my account.

Basiclly, i want to change the begining of the email adress, which is everything before the @mac.com

Is it possible to do this on my current account? Will i be given the option to change it when i renew my sub?

No unfortunately you're stuck with what you picked. You can however buy another address for an additional fee and use that. Set your main account up to forward to that address and you should be golden.

If you want an easier way, set up your new, desired name as an alias and use it.
