Not too bad like that. Make sure that your Mac has at least 4GB RAM and do a clean installation then you can use it better. My friend has got the same problem when he upgrade from 10.6.8 to Lion. But that stuff became better when he had done a clean installation. No comment with unstable things. It's the truth. :(
