Hey guys i want to sell my ipod touch so i can get a new 32gb with the macbook sale.

How would i go about deleting all settings, passwords, history, music, apps etc. from this ipod and retain the music/movies/apps for my new one?

Thanks!

Under Settings you'll find the Factory Reset option. I don't have my Touch on me at the moment, but I think it's under the General options. It's all the way at the bottom of whatever section it's in.

Steps:

- Connect your Touch to your computer and allow it to perform a backup.
- Reset your Touch using the Factory Reset option on the Touch (or, alternatively, hitting "Restore" in iTunes)
- When you connect your new Touch to iTunes, tell it to use the latest backup from your old one.

You'll be set.

Hey everybody, the buyer received the ipod touch today but complained that when he tries to access the app store, it asks for my password.

Anyway to get rid of this?

The buyer needs to create an iTunes account of their own and then sync the touch to that account in iTunes.

On the device go to Settings\Store then log out of your account and create or log into his own account.
