Simple Restoring Question...

I'm using a JB iPhone 3GS running 3.0.1. I've been experiencing extremely bad battery life and I want to restore and start fresh again...

How do I restore without upgrading to 3.1? I'm using iTunes 9 if that matters...

iTunes is not going to let you do it though. It allows 3.1 only to be loaded since the last update.

Unless you already used the Cydia functionality to store your iPhone's key files, hope you did!

Even if you did, they ran out of time storing 3.0.1 keys. If you have it on file you can install 3.0 though.
