I just trimmed a bunch of notifications. My personal guess at the heaviest offender to battery life is dictation. I was doing a lot of texting on mine yesterday.

I agree the battery life is amazing! I used it for over three hours yesterday on GPS aside from taking calls, text messages, checking applications even playing a game or two and still had 17% before I went to bed last night around 1 AM.

It's debatable whether the battery life is good or bad, but one thing I will say, based on my experience with other Apple products the battery is better than I expected it to be.

You forgot to add... Of course I had my phone plugged in to the CIG lighter because the navigation would have drained it rather quickly! The phone is doing the heavy lifting.

Actually my phone was not plugged into the charger. It was in my bag and it also was fine as regards battery life at the end of the day. Around 30% as I recall.

My usage is at only three hours, 44 minutes; heavy use for me. But, at 20% battery life, my standby time is one day, seven hours. I think that's pretty good.

I've been using my watch very lightly. I went to the gym for an hour this morning and I was ok but then took an hour long walk. ~4 hours until bed time and I have 35% left.

My question is more along the lines of how the battery performs after it's been charged over and over again for several months. Just like your iPhone, at some point the time a full charge lasts starts decreasing. How soon will this happen with the watch?

Depends on the day and usage. Under light use, the battery seems to be awesome. The first day I got it and installed apps and played around, my impression was that it was really bad and I would have to charge it twice a day. If your a moderate user it should be fine, if you are a heavy user, I doubt it will make the day. Too early to call it, will see how it performs this week.

Please guys, is that difficult to write the size of your watch along the "its awesome/horrific"?
Half of you are not saying it, and it would be perfect to compare between models and get patterns here!
