PC lover

The downloads folder is

(your name)/documents/ea games/the sims 2/downloads

if it's not there you may need to create one yourself, though that's rarely an issue.

Apparently you have a PC VERSION! I have a mac. I think you lied and using misinformation. I do not have a downloads folder either. Also, I downloaded this legally. It also did not have a download code. I found this very odd. Unless you can explain this phenomenon.

sims 2

hey i have multiple files that ive put in the sims 2 download file but when i get in game it dont work and i have it enabled to but i keep getting told to make a downloads folder and i have so i was wondering if someone could help:confused:

Hi,

I have downloaded some custom content for The Sims 2 (Mac) but it won't install.

I double click on the .package file but all that happens is the Package Installer opens but it just says "Please double-click on a custom content package file to install the content." even though that is what I'm doing.

Please Help.

Thanks.

I made an account just to answer this question for the people out there who never got an answer regarding this message from your package installer. This message comes up when you download Content that has requirements that YOU do not have installed. Like for example, a download you want will need apartment life but you do not have it, therefore that message will pop up when you try to install.
The sims Resource has a section in the bottom to show you what requirements are needed for the download. Make sure you read it and verify your eligibility. Do this with CC that you DO have the requirements for and "Voila!!" It's working! YAAAAY

Happy Simming:D:D;)
