Sims 2 object's

Hello, I was wondering that if I download objects off the exchange section on the sims 2 website will it work on the mac version of sims 2?

Help appreciated.

They work just fine as long as you have the proper expansions installed.

They're either self installing packages or they have to be unzipped and dropped in ~/Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads.
