Sims 3 and need for speed sound effects not working

Hello,

I have a 3GS Iphone , black.
I upgraded to the 3.1 beta.
In sims 3 cant hear any effect ( like sims talking etc ) and same for need for speed ( no car sounds etc.. ) Music I can hear in both games.
I really don't know if my phone is defective or is because some 3.1 bug or
it was like this with 3.0 already.
I can not restore to 3.0 ...
I don't know if someone can let me know if you have these issues ( of course in game settings sound effects are on ).
Also how can i downgrade to 3.0 .I don know how to to the irecovery as the second input doesnt work ( the ./ irecovery - s )
Please check your need for speed and sims 3 if all ok , under 3.0 and 3.1 and let me know.

it is probably a bug on the developers side after all it is a beta for devs to test out the bugs in their apps 2 of which you seem to be experiencing.

at least thats what i think
