iPhone XS Max Since 13.6, volume of ringers and alerts keeps changing

Since the iOS upgrade to 13.6, my ringers and alerts keep changing to about 25% of the volume level. I go to settings and put it back at 100%. A few minutes later, it goes back to 25%.

I missed my alarm two morning in a row because of this.

Does anyone know a fix for this? I have power cycled the phone twice. Results were the same.

Try setting the alert volume within the app you want it to ring by using the volume up/down buttons when the app is active.

The same issue exists all the way back in iOS 9 with some apps.

Tried that many times. Didn't work.

And, again, this started with 13.6. It was fine before that.

For me it’s the other way around, seems like 13.6 finally fixed the random volume changes.
