I can't put music on my iphone.. I don't know why but it just comes up with the cercal with a cross thru it.. how do I put music on?

Yeah, you've never had drag-and-drop capability with the iPhone. You have to selectively sync your music.

You've posted two different problems here so you need to clarify. The first says you can't drag music into your iPhone, the second says you can't drag music into iTunes. Is it one, the other or both?
You say "it" comes up with a cercal [sic] with a cross through it? What is "it"? You posts are pretty unclear and lacking in detail so it's going to be hard for anyone to help you.
