does anyone think it'll be possible to download and run a Skype widget or an iChat widget on the iPhone? so u could at least see who is online? also was there any mention of iCal integration?

I would expect that most widgets would work, yes, assuming they don't have really beefy (RAM/disk space intensive) requirements, as the iPhone is pretty light on memory, given everything else it needs to do.

Yes this is very bad thread resurrection but I thought it was funny that we still don't have iChat on the iPhone.

But mainly the oldest thread I could find in this iPhone section.. LOL
