since when did AW play video?!

I just noticed today that my watch can play video.
When did this change happen?

From day 1 as far as I remember.
At least, it’s available for developers since watch OS2

Yeah I have been able to play videos but it isn't I prefer to watch on the phone. If someone sends a video on iMessage, I will glance at it and watch it on my phone.
