I've been reading this forum and searched the threads and I think the answer to the question in my subject is negative, but wanted to verify.

    Briefly, I'd like:
    - 3 separate email address using MobileMe for push to 3 iPod Touches and sync with 3 Macs
    - 1 global iCal calendar which all three users can access on their iPod Touches/Macs.

Possible? From everything I have read, the family pack will provide the multiple email addresses. But is it possible on the Macs/Touches to set it up to access one account for email/address book but another for the calendar?

    Thanks in advance...

    Yes, it's possible.

My wife and I share one calendar and set of contacts on our iPhones. We also have separate MobileMe e-mails configured on our iPhones. This was achieved by:

    - We both use the same my MobileMe account for the calendars and contacts. (configured in iTunes)

    - We use our individual MobileMe accounts for e-mail. (configured on the iPhone Settings --> Mail, Contacts, Calendars --> Accounts )

The gotcha is that the contacts and calendars will be exactly the same for all users. This is not an issue for us, but ymmv. We have set up our own calendars within iCal and have set up groups in Address Book/Contacts. The iPhone will stick with last accessed calendar / group. To view other or all calendars / groups you just need to change selection.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick reply...does this all work on the Mac as well?

If I understand correctly then, your setup allows:

    - 1 global calendar on all devices (Macs, iPod Touches etc.), which can be accessed AND edited from any device with push from MobileMe

    - 1 global address book on all devices as above

    - individual email addresses on each device, or in my case pairs of devices (ie. each user gets 1 iPod touch, 1 Mac)

All I need is 4 MobileMe accounts (1 for the global, 3 for the individuals).

Thanks for your reply, it is greatly appreciated.

On your macs, you'd have to use the same MobileMe account information in system preferences to get the same contacts and calendars. But you can then set up separately, on each mac, whichever account you want in Mail.
