Single Click?

Is there anyway to make apps open with a single click instead of double like ipad. Not dock apps but others like if I put some on my desktop.

None that I'm aware of. I prefer the single click as well but it doesn't seem to be available in any version of OS X. 😱

That requires a mimic mouse which I don't have. Unlees the one from my g5 works.

If you bring up the Launchpad, then you can launch apps with a single click. It behaves like the iPad screen. I hit F4 on my rMBP for the Launchpad, but there are other ways to get it to show up, like with Hot Corners if you'd like. I personally don't use the Launchpad, but it is there if you like that functionality.
