Greetings!
I am new to the forums and new to Mac as well. I love my new iMac and coming from a mostly Linux background I seem to be finding my way around ok however I would like to know if there is a way that I can change my settings to open folders and apps with a single click rather than the default double click. Since I only had to single click an object once in Linux I find I am constantly forgeting that second click and sitting there like a boob wondering why this app or folder is taking so long to open. 🙄 Also would love to know if there is a way to make focus follow mouse. If I am just missing a setting somewhere then please forgive my ignorance and thanks for any help.
Regards,
Baron

I'm not sure about the single-clicking...

About the cursor following, I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but I think Ctrl+Zoom is what you want...
