Single license Home / Student Microsoft Office for Mac? (One-time, not subscription)

Seems like Office 365 is pushing annual subscriptions for Office. Any tips on where/how to source a single license of Home / Student for Microsoft Office for Mac?

Seeking this for my Mum's laptop. She really does not need all of the updates and to be paying in perpetuity. I've seen a few on eBay but wondering if there are other, better alternatives.

You should be able to buy a single license off the Microsoft website. I did that 3 - 4 years ago.

^Thank you! For some reason, I thought that was no longer available. Looks like it is $119.99 for Office Home & Student 2019. Will shop around! There seem to be better deals online than directly through MS.
