A good card to use in a cMP with a GTX 680 (for boot screens) as it enables Displayport 1.4 and HDMI 2.0.

As Dell has finally started releasing monitors using these new standards (UP3218K and UP2718Q) I hope it is only a matter of time before we get a 5K display using DP 1.4 which will mean one cable instead of the horrible two cabled MST solution present on current 5K displays.

NOTE: This card is PCIe bus powered. 6/8 pin power not required.

It seems that the performance of 1050ti is almost the same as gtx 680

Yep, which is why this card would be very much to provide Displayport 1.4 and 5K output only. Not much more on offer here.
