Tried Stellaris and did not survive it, like playing a spread sheet. Reports are Sins of a Solar Empire is a better 4X RTS type game, and since the newer 2022 version is on sale $32 till 6Oct25 on Steam, I jumped on it. Currently working my way though the ingame tutorials and may consume one of the beginners videos on YouTube.
