Hey guys, I'm super excited!

Today we are releasing our first beta of Sinus for OS X, a personal assistant app for the Desktop. And it works as you would expect: Click on the icon in the menu bar, or enable the assistant by clicking the shortcut and then just speak to your computer! Sinus will understand your natural language with some innovative processing units and deliver the answer within seconds.

While it's still in its early stages, we, the developers, promise to enhance the functionality step by step! We some great plans for the future, including new, innovative voice user interface design paradigms, that you have never seen before.

"How to get from here to Paris?"
What's the weather like in New York?"
"What time is it in Bristol?"
"What are the breaking news?"
"Do I have a meeting on Friday?"
"Set the Timer to one minute!"
"Find that Photoshop file I've been working on."
"Open Facebook!"

Ten days before the WWDC, Sinus has been released, which initially started as a college project. We are so proud of the final product and we are all really excited to see the community's reaction.

I downloaded and installed, I made a mistake and installed from the downloads folder first and then moved it to the applications folder. I Now have the application twice on my macbook. I tried to delete using APPCLEANER, but the 2 icons on the status bar as well as the slid-out functionality still remains. Is there a folder that needs to be deleted that still remains in the system folder?

I'd like to re-install this correctly. It seems pretty awesome!!

Just a suggestion to make sure that you completely deleted the app...even Appcleaner sometimes leaves stuff behind.

Hey SantaRosa2.2,
just quit both applications by right-clicking the menu bar item and choose Quit. Remove all "Sinus (beta).app" from your Mac.
Re-download the app from the Sinus Homepage.

PS: The app is sandboxed, so all files it uses (preferences, etc.) are stored in ~/Library/Containers/me.raffael.Sinus :)

I got it thank you for your help. It's a neat app and I look forward to more updates
 
hey guys... someone please help me i want sinus so bad but it says 'sorry we're not ready' and it wont let me download it plz plz plzzz someone?? H E L P F E L L O W M A C L O V E R S ! ! !

If you're serious, you'll have to supply some information about your Mac.
