Anyone else got this?

I'm using British Male voice on my phone/watch for Siri and now if I ask 'Set timer for 5 minutes' it replies 'OK 5 minootess and counting' :(

Restarted both watch and phone and still getting it.

The female one does the same. I always assumed it was Siri being ‘clever’ by adding an informal ‘twang’ to the word.

Even after the 4.3.2 update purged the voice files the problem persists... annoying, I was hopeful that they had sorted it out and re-downloading voice was an indication that it was all going to be fixed :/

I still don’t think it’s a bug. It’s just how Siri responds. Ask her how many minutes in an hour and she says it correctly. Report it to Apple if it really bothers you.

it doesn't seem to effect the female voice, one of the guys at work had the British female voice and she said minutes properly.

But actually on the specific question 'How many minutes in an hour' the male voice also responds correctly.. it's the set timer for that causes the problem.

Yep you’re right. Just tried mine with the latest software and she says minutes correctly now. The thick plottens...

Mmmm I can’t get either to reproduce it now. They both say ‘counting down from x minutes’ and it’s all correct.
