Hi

Been a member here for years but never posted, but after talking to Apple customer support today I thought I'd give you guys a try!

I have an iPhone XS max and an Apple Watch series 4 after a few years away in the Android world. I've gone back to using Reminders and have found an issue with using Siri on my Apple Watch to add reminders. This is what happens:

1. I have a number of lists in Reminders including "Personal", "Household" and "Shopping List"
2. On my watch I say "Hey Siri, add beer to my shopping list"
3. Siri says "You don't have a shopping list. I can create it for you using your iPhone"
4. I say the same phrase to my iPhone and I get "OK, I added beer to your shopping list"
5. On my watch the same thing happens if I try to add bleach to "Household" for example.

I have restarted the watch and iPhone. I have signed out of iCloud on my phone, and signed back in. After talking to Apple I unpaired my watch and re-paired but the same thing still happens.

Have you guys experienced this? I noticed back in August last year there are a few posts about this happening and then getting magically better.

I'll phone Apple back tomorrow if I can't get this sorted.

Cheers

Stuart

I’ve just tried it for you and it works fine. Which is your default List under Settings, Reminders? (On the phone)

My default list is a Microsoft Exchange account btw.

Do you have an MDM profile installed on your phone for work emails? I have the same issue.

Boom. Yes I do. The MDM profile also screwed up calendar data synching with Fantastical on the Apple Watch. What a pain.

Well thanks guys at least I know what the problem is now.
