tried to use Siri on my 2011 iMac, said 'run Safari" and Siri could't find it. Couldn't find Photos or twitter either. Any ideas? Do I need to configure anything, or does Siri need to spend some time compiling what apps I have?

Which version of Sierra are you on right now? You can find out from System Report. I am on the latest macOS 10.12 (16A322) and it works fine, but I heard there were problems with it on earlier versions.

Same problem here. I just downloaded and installed the release candidate of Sierra from the mac app store today. Siri cannot seem to find any my apps or my files.

Same problem on a mid-2011iMac. Siri keeps telling me to download an app even when I say open download file. It can tell me the weather though.
