I always use FlightAware to track incoming flights for family and friends for pickup, as I live very close to LAX. It works well and sends notifications for the relevant flight information.
Today while waiting for someone to arrive, I got to thinking about live activities and that it would be nice to see the information on the lock screen.
FlightAware for some reason doesn’t offer this, and the apps that do want a subscription (no thanks).
So I tried to get the new Siri to create a live activity, but I couldn’t get it to create one. You would think that’s something that the system-integrated AI could do.
Maybe if enough people ask for it…
