Everytime I use the button to activate Siri on my watch the first time will always fail (something went wrong message). follow up time will always work.

Anyone else have this issue?

Are you saying that it only fails if you use the button method? If you have ”raise to speak” and “listen for hey Siri” enabled and use “hey Siri” does it work without the something went wrong message?

What happened to the original poster? Did you ever find a solution?

I’ve been having the same issue for months and through multiple WatchOS and iOS updates.
I see the issue whether I use the button or raise to speak.
If I see Siri taking a long time to respond, I know it’s going to fail. If I cancel and try again immediately, it keeps failing.
I have to allow it to fail completely and wait for Siri say “Sorry, can you say that again? My apologies. I couldn’t hear what you said.” Then, if I repeat the command it always works the next time.
Are the watches defective or is it a software issue that only two people in this forum are noticing?

I have an issue where if I tell Siri to speak screen she answers “ I’m currently speaking at 63%.” Then I say “read screen“ and she says “you have no new messages”. When I say speak screen again, she will speak the screen. I happened upon this formula by accident. Wonder what the deal is .
