um. I don't need to back it up, it happened to me personally, it's on apples website, as posted in this thread, AND it's all over apples support forums as well. Not my fault you're too lazy to look it up.

Where on Apple's website? Please do share. Forums mean nothing, unless there is evidence from Apple itself.

It can take a REALLY long time. Leave it overnight.

I tried over the last few days to get the new voice to auto-download (several reboots, resets, etc.). I finally did an Erase All Content and Settings this morning, setup as a new phone, and asked Siri to tell me a story. It replied with the old voice. I left it alone, plugged-in on wifi for about 30 minutes, and now I have the upgraded voice. Just wanted to pass along incase others have problems getting the new voice; may have to erase and start all over.

I am not planning to do that for the updated voice but thanks for sharing.

Siri on my iPhone 5 is still robotic too. iPad is fine, so I'm thinking I may just have to reinstall iOS 7.

Force High quality Siri download!

For those of you all that aren't getting the High quality Siri automatically, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Languages and Dialects
Pick US
And then flip the switch saying enhanced quality
