Tried everything in this forum (resetting network settings, reboot, turning Siri on/off), nothing. Siri was working fine 4 hours ago, now... All she says is she's having trouble connecting to network.

Siri never worked for me. I finally fixed it by turning Siri off rebooting the phone then turning Siri back on. Works like a champ now.

She started working again for me around 2am this morning, and is still working just fine now. Its amazing to be able to run to town and drive around doing errands, texting, and getting little tidbits of info I need without ever having to take my eyes off the road to type.

Same Problem here

I tried to reset and disable. Same problem. But when I discounted to my network and used 3G, no issues. Connect back to the network. Won't work. But I have two networks in my home. The main one is Apple's Time Capsule. When I switch over to my Belkin network, no issues! Worked every time. But when I went back to Apple's Time Capsule, Siri couldn't locate the network (but the network is working fine on everything else!). Strange!

Everyone relax.

Siri is a beta release, this kind of stuff is going to happen. Give em a chance to straiten things out.

If this is still going on a couple of months from now, then get angry.

Lumpy.

Add me to the list for Siri problems

Worked great until about 10am EST and since then cannot connect to the network.:(

Same, just checked after using it this morning around 8 and now she's down again. This weekend she worked 99.9999% of the time, and now I've grown accustomed to having it lol

Yeah, Siri is down for me right now as well. Of course it went down as I was trying to show one of my friends, who is an enormous Fandroid, all about Siri. Of course, riotous laughter ensued. Thanks, Apple!

Siri was working for my perfectly yesterday. But today, nothing...

Then I had a thought. Yesterday I was not home, so I was using it on AT&T 3G service. Today I am on a Comcast connection. Sure enough, I disabled my Wi-Fi and Siri worked like a charm!

Anyone else having this issue over Wi-Fi, or specifically on Comcast?

Siri has not worked for me in the last 2 hours. On 3G or WIFI. I even diabled siri and reset the network settings but siri still can not connect. On speedtest I get 5Mbits down and 2Mbits up over 3G.

Maybe solved!!!!!!!

Well, after seeing my wife's iPhone work just fine with Siri while mine continued to experience network issues, I decided this wasn't a server issue. Resetting alone with Siri set to off did not work for me. However, an old iPad trick did work:
*
I cleared out the multi-tasking bar (when you double tap the home button), turned off the phone and back on again and it works like a champ.
*
I suspect it has to do with older out-dated apps not playing nice with iOS 5.

This worked for me (so far). If this is correct and works for all, I am wondering why we are the Guineapigs for Apple?
Is it that we, the customers, will just have to figure things out for ourselves?

Anyway, thanks goes to aggiemullins.

Hi I'm from Singapore and I'm having the same problem. Having trouble connecting to the network but it has been 24 hours already. Can someone tell me if this is a problem with my phone or apple's server?

my girlfriends phone on verizon works just fine right now, while mine cannot connect to the network.. why is that? Isn't it one network? (apple)

the opposite happens too.. mine can connect while hers can't.. any thoughts on why that may be the case or if this indicates some other issue?
