Works for me... I press the little icon (the toggle between icon view and dashboard view) and speak my command... Works every time.

Works good for me Hey Siri. Only problem is, it’s not like the HomePod with that very sensitive mic for “Hey Siri” commands so have to adjust volume sometimes or speak at a higher than normal volume.

I couldn't figure out why siri stopped responding on my beats,

my phone turned hey siri off by itself
not sure when this happened, but it was on one of the recent updates.

so you might want to check to make sure hey siri is actually turned on.

Mine turned off the Hey Siri option when i transferred from my old phone to my new iPhone 12.

i have a 2018 mitsubishi Eclipse Cross that the trackpad was unresponsive this was corrected in 14.3 for me.
