Besides the AOD issue I have on the other thread, another issue I found with the new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Siri is not working using voice command, on both lock and unlocked state. Button to activate Siri worked tho.

Here’s the fix:
So I fixed it by toggling on/off Siri, recalibrate Siri again, then do a hard boot.

I think iOS 18 is super buggy… wth 🤦‍♂️

Check your options. Mine was also turned off for some reason after restoring from my 15 Pro. I had to re-enable the “hey siri” voice activation option.

Mine was on but I had to re-enable and reconfigure it again.

Mine works fine but it’s the new Siri with Apple Intelligence
Are you running a beta iOS? I went from. 13 iphone pro max running iOS 18. Siri on a 16 pro and it is awful. Long time to respond. Sometimes it take command sometime it does even launch Siri Or respond with answer or even launch

Yeah I am on iOS 18.1 public beta with Apple intelligence turned on

I figured it does have something to do with the new AI features. If this inconvenience was a minor setback for what’s about to come, I’d be open to suffer to see lols… ps. This better be worth it haha

Mine wasn't working either. I did a search on these forums and found this thread. Makes me feel better that it's not just me. I have a 16PM on 18.1 Beta 4. I turned her off and on again, recalibrated, and now it works. Sort of. I say "Hey Siri" and hear a chime, but nothing shows on my screen. I'll ask a question, and get a text pop up, sometimes with the answer, sometimes blank. Trying it a few more times, I got her voice to answer me, but a blank text box. Must be beta bugginess.

I was annoyed that on top of the AOD issue it didn’t work. But glad it was a quick fix.

Mine was completely unresponsive. No nothing, funny thing is my other devices (old iPhones) be responding to me lmaooo

I have this problem from Day one of my 16PM.
yesterday with a hard reset of my phone. It’s  for now… I hope all ‘ll be K.

So after 2 days, siri don’t working.
Another hard reset and new settings for Siri.
All is strange, touch issue, battery drain siri won’t working also after iOS 18.0.1

Seeing most people saying reconfiguring Siri fixed it for them. But I tried doing that and it still isn’t working 😭

Have this on 18.0.1 16pm, reconfigured, reboots etc. works but always fades away and stops working. Anyone able to confirm this is fixed in 18.1 b7?

My Siri is so broken on my phone. I’ve retrained it probably 2-3 times and it never picks up the command yet my iPad that I have set to hey siri instead of just Siri will pick up commands from across the room. I’ve tested mics work by using voice memos and recording video (each one uses the front and back mic) and it’s driving me crazy.
