I updated to iOS 14.5 then 14.5.1 and I’ve noticed Siri not completing requests or questions that are asked. I did everything that could be done and it works temporarily but goes back to not working properly.

Is anyone else experiencing it?

Yes. I've noticed this on my iPhone 11 since 14.5.1.

Siri talks and then cuts off even though she's still talking according to the captions.

I have problems while in the car using Siri. She cuts off on iPhone 11. Audio isn’t been played but the music is lowered in volume. Super annoying while using navigation

Pretty much exactly this

I too am having the same problem with the iPhone SE 2020. So far I've noticed most of the issues coming from the iPhone 11. I wonder if it could be something specific to the A13 as both the SE and 11 share the same chip. It's a really annoying bug, especially if you're used to Siri reading back messages.

Good observation about this possibly being an A13 chip issue. And, yes, it's an annoying bug.

I have been experiencing these exact symptoms with my iPhone 11 for about a week. I first noticed the problem with Siri's voice dropping out via the CarPlay interface, and I mistakingly assumed it was a CarPlay problem. Repaired, etc. I later realized it was a problem with Siri on the phone itself, as I could reproduce the problem with only the phone (no CarPlay) and with AirPods.

The solution for me turned out to be Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Siri is working perfectly now. Perhaps there are problems with network caches or the like as Siri phones home for data support, via network connections.

Hope it works for you all.

This appears to have worked for me. Thanks very much for sharing this!

I reset my network settings and it still cuts out (I’m just using it on the phone and not CarPlay). I do have an iPhone 11 Pro

I have noticed that it has affected Apple Maps directions. It begins talking then stops. It doesn't seem like there's a consistent fix and Apple needs to do something ASAP!! However, I don't see it being discussed as much as I thought. I hope they realize there's an issue.

Yes, this happened to me recently with CarPlay. Siri just cut out in the middle of directions. I followed the advice someone gave about resetting network settings which seemed to do the trick for now.

Yes kind of. It’s not working as smoothly as it was prior to 14.5.1. And I’ve an iPhone 11 which seems to be common denominator from scanning this thread. It’s like there’s a delay. Several times I’ve said hey siri and I hear the audible sound Siri makes but then then she doesn’t say anything.
