You beat me to it!
Just one thing to suggest, having the self-destruct button coloured red is a little off-putting. Just leave it the same colour as the rest, there is no reason why that button would need to be discernible from the rest.

Siri needs to be voice activated. Seems silly that a voice recognition software is not voice activated.
Something along the lines of.. "Computer...."

But every self destruct button is red. That's one of the biggest cliches in the book!Anyway, here's a version with all the buttons silver:

And a Face Time button.
And a brightness button.
And an iPod button.
And a camera button.
And an Angry Birds button.
And...
I'm tired of holding pressing the home button forever and waiting.
Raise to speak doesn't always work either.
We need a Siri button.....NOW!
Siri is NOT simply a new feature, this is the the future of USING an Apple product so the key here is to figure out whats the most efficient way of activating it. We shouldn't have to wait to listen for an audible/visual cue in order to realize that the phone is ready to take a command. We should be able to press a button and talk immediately.
Finally someone who gets it.
Corrected for you. Apple won't make a dedicated button. Look at their previous products and interface design for those products and how they have evolved.I want a dedicated hardware Siri button
Holding the home button "forever"? It takes less than 1 second to hold the home button to activate Siri, thats pretty far from "forever".
Are you crazy or something??? That's too many buttons. And a Face Time button.

If it's taking 4-5 seconds for you to bring up Siri, something's wrong. Phone was in standby, held down the home button and in less than 2 seconds it started up.It takes about 4 to 5 seconds actually...
I would say neither of you get what the iPhone is about.

I counted 3 secs this time.
You need to stop counting and use a watch or clock. Mine pops up in a second or so.
Sounds like your iPhone is defective and has the "delayed Siri syndrome".
I honestly would careless if it's defective lol. I barely use it.
