Just one thing to suggest, having the self-destruct button coloured red is a little off-putting. Just leave it the same colour as the rest, there is no reason why that button would need to be discernible from the rest.

But every self destruct button is red. That's one of the biggest cliches in the book!
Anyway, here's a version with all the buttons silver:
Siri needs to be voice activated. Seems silly that a voice recognition software is not voice activated.
Something along the lines of.. "Computer...."

GOOD GRIEF, how long are you having to wait, a second or two? We can't get Apple to put a notification LED on the device and you want a NEW button just for Siri of which I bet most iPhone users do not even use.
Ok so you know how you can use the volume button to take the photo? I think when you are using the shortcut, you should use the + to zoom in and the - to zoom out. Maybe in settings. Also to the person who made the mockup nice work!
Corrected for you. Apple won't make a dedicated button. Look at their previous products and interface design for those products and how they have evolved.
I personally only use Siri to write events on my calendar and set up reminders. Apart from that, I don't even use it. Unless when my friends keep asking it stupid questions like "what are you wearing". Like dude, it's not real.
If it's taking 4-5 seconds for you to bring up Siri, something's wrong. Phone was in standby, held down the home button and in less than 2 seconds it started up.
Too bad he didn't perform and Siri functions but did the basic Voice Control functions. This is not a Siri add on. Also, low power listening state? Is he serious? More Cydia (not all Cydia is bad) crapware.

My post was assuming you don't have the "delay" some people are experiencing when you wake up the phone.
You need to stop counting and use a watch or clock. Mine pops up in a second or so.
Sounds like your iPhone is defective and has the "delayed Siri syndrome".
I always thought it would be nice if they added just ONE more button to the iPhone that you could customize. One click for camera, two for settings, hold for siri, whatever you want. My old blackberry had a customizable quick launch button and I still miss it. The home button does a lot of work right now, and that's why it gets all mushy after a few months of use.
Raise to speak works fine to me. Most of my friends didnt even know that option exist they been holding their home button.
