Siri, no initial bing-bong tones

On my iPhone 5, iOS 9.2, Siri works as designed, but the welcoming tones no longer play when first pressing the Home button. A restart did not fix the issue.

Is there a fix, what am I doing wrong?

The initial tone is no longer present for Siri on iPhones as of iOS 9 (just a small vibration).
