Hi guys as the title suggests, can Siri control HomeKit devices on the Mac?

"Turn on the living room light"

"Sorry I can't help you with that"

Wonder if you'll need an Apple TV 3rd or 4th gen (or now an iPad using iOS 10) to act as the hub for macOS Siri. Would be odd considering it wouldn't need such hubs for security, but would certainly sell those Apple TV's.

Unfortunately I've an Apple TV4 with TVOS 10 on the same network that the above test was done with and it didn't help.

Thanks dude! I couldn't find any mention of it on their site.
Really silly of Apple. You wouldn't think it would be hard for them to implement the same (non phone based) Siri tasks to macOS. I mean, they just brought homekit to tvOS so now we can wait another year for it to come to the mac. Sigh...
