Siri Remote 2021 Case/Protection

I have ordered the new Apple TV 4K 2021 and an additional new Siri remote. I am looking for a good protection/case but was not able to find anything so far.

Can you please post on that thread anything you found or will find.

I believe I bought one of the first cases for the prior version of the ATV remote in 2015(?) which helped sooo much knowing which end is up!!!
At the time there were about two choices opposed to dozens and dozens of them now. I bet there will be some on Amazon very very shortly.

Same here … I bought the remote too since I have the Apple TV 4K first gen. Not sure when cases will arrive. With something made of aluminum I don’t want to risk losing it to scratches.

I use a silicone one right now, like a condom lol - I stuck an airtag in there and i've used it already about 10x to find my remote. Looking forward to another one of these

Yeah the edges are almost too sharp to hold comfortably, and maybe something with a loop for an Airtag would be nice.

Use a plastic bag/wrap with rubber bands. My grandparents used them for their remotes and furniture. Works great.

In the meantime just apply a condom over it, the buttons and touch sensors should still work when choosing an ultrasensitive variant. 🙃

Could be that Apple did not provide the case dimensions to case makers far enough in advance to have cases available on launch day.

I am baffled also. Not only I could not find one on Amazon but nowhere else. I'm actually looking for a case that would have a space to hold an AirTag but all I could find was one for previous Siri Remote. Dis anyone find a case for the new remote with space for AirTag?

View attachment 1782323Thanks. I have been looking for one since release. I wish it shows how it top end looks like though. It’s the only place where there’s no aluminum. It needs a balance between protection and not interfering the signal.

Just ordered one bit from her pictures it looks like it’ll be smooth silicone. There were some protective cases I got off Amazon for the first gen Siri remote that has textured silicone which really helped add some grip. Hope something like that also comes out for this remote.
