Bought a Siri Remote for an Apple TV 4K. Have had it for a few months now and having issues. When you are cycling through menus using then buttons it likes to take off and scroll on it’s own. Sometimes watching shows it will pause and start on its own with the remote sitting on the table and not being touched. Restarting the Apple TV usually resolves the issues for a few days. I can’t find anything on Apple’s website on if they offer any warranty on the remotes. It is six months old so beyond where it can be returned back to the store. Any ideas or suggestions?

where is your appleTV? if it's close to a source of potential EM interefecen, move it.

Mine is stuck in the hanging bracket in the back of my TV, If I have it in one certain place, the remote doesn't work well at all, but move the aTV a few inches one way or the other and it's fine.

The Apple TV is located in a built in cabinet about 5 feet from the TV. There are several other licenses of equipment in the same cabinet including a wifi router and Phillips Hue hub. The Apple has been at this location for many years now and I never had an issue. Prior to buying the Siri Remote I have the old remote that came with it. I never had issues with that remote. Is there any scenario where the old remote would work fine with this setup but the new Siri Remote would have the issues I am having?
