I have a 2021 siri remote and a battery percentage widget on my iPhone 12 Pro. The widget shows battery percentages for my iPhone, my beats fit pro case and my BFP earbuds. It also has a blank place for another device. I would like for it to show the percentage for my Siri remote but I can’t find how to do that. Is it possible? If so, how do I add the Siri remote to the devices? Thanks.

If you're able to connect the Siri remote with your iPhone, then you can (maybe) see the battery % on it.

I just called Apple support. This is not possible, nor is it possible to simply ask Siri for the battery percentage.

Unfortunately the only way to check the remote percentage level is via the ATV settings menu under Remotes and Devices.

the battery in my remote lasts almost 3 months, would guess that when it falls below 10% (?) you'll get a warning but I have not seen that yet ... I check every now and then

Yes you do indeed get an on screen warning.
