Siri Remote Bluetooth Range

Does anyone know what the range is on the Siri remote?

I have an AV cabinet in a cupboard in my hallway.

My PS4 controllers struggle to get a signal even though it's not that far away. PS3 controllers are fine though so it's definitely a case of reduced range on the PS4.

Just wondered if I was going to have similar issues with the new Apple TV.

At the announcement, they said something about being able to use it throughout the house. Of course, that could have just been talking it up.
